Gravity Apollo Men's Snowboard

The Apollo freeride snowboard successfully enters the next season in a new minimalist design. If you're looking for a board that will hold you up even on pristine backcountry terrain, the Apollo is the partner for you. You will become the pilot of a harder cam-out camber with a directional twin shape, which, with the help of a sintered base, will allow you to conquer the slopes and float through deep snow without any problems. Reinforcement with fiberglass and carbon will give you precise control over this spaceship, so you will experience the joy of every carved arc.

Specifications

  • Flex: 7
  • All-mountain: 10/10
  • Freeride: 8/10
  • Freestyle: 8/10
  • Directional Twin – exactly the same shape of tip and tail, but with inserts more seated to the foot of the board. This shape provides better control when riding in all-mountain conditions.
  • Cam-out camber – classic camber enables the most stable ride along the edge, accuracy and maximum flexibility when rebounding into a jump. Ideal for all-mountain snowboards and for freestyle with the highest demands on precision and big bounce (pop).
  • Poplar + Beech Woodcore – a light poplar core is supplemented with beech inserts for greater stiffness and flexibility.
  • Sintered Base - Sintered base is harder, more scratch resistant and absorbs wax better. It needs to be given a little more care than an extruded base and waxed regularly, but in return it will offer you a fast ride.
  • Prewaxed Base – all Gravity snowboards are waxed from the factory and ready for immediate use.
  • Triaxial fiberglass + Carbon Beams – added carbon reinforcements together with triaxial lamination increase the overall rigidity and increase the sensitivity and control of the snowboard while riding.
  • Urethane Sidewall – 360° polyurethane sidewall protects the edge and side of the core from damage, better transfers energy to the edge and dampens vibrations.
  • 4×2 Micro Inserts – the inserts are placed in a 4×2 cm position. Compared to regular inserts (4 × 4 cm), they enable more accurate position adjustment.
